The average transfusion uses 3 pints of blood.

A single care accident victim can use up to 100 pints of blood! Your single pint donation has the potential to be separated into 3 component parts—red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets—to benefit patients with a variety of transfusion needs, from trauma to cancer treatment to surgery recovery.

Winter weather throughout Oregon and across the country has taken a devastating toll on collections, cancelling drives and impairing donations. We always need your donation…and the need is even greater right now. Please help us restock our supplies. Start the year off right—generously—by giving the gift of lifeblood.
