Tony Broadous has been the Men’s Basketball coach at PCC for seven years. With an almost brand new team and only three returning players, the momentum for this upcoming season is great.

We have become one of the top Community Colleges in the Pacific Northwest over the past six years and this year will hopefully continue that trend.

Coach Broadous said the goal for 2019 is to win the NWAC Southern Region conference.

“It is typically the toughest conference in the league and we are hoping to take first again place, which would be the first back-to-back conference titles in school history.”

When asked what PCC students should know about our Men’s Basketball is they’re really good!

“We were ranked #1 for ten out of 13 weeks last year, made it to the Final Four and came super close to winning the league championship. Our games are really exciting, fast paced, lots of slam dunks and three pointers.”

This year six players have already been recruited: Kadeem Strickland, Brendan Ritschard, Mike Landi, Nathanael Boyer, Benyle Jordan and Keyshawn Waters. Their next game will be in Eugene vs Lane Community College on Saturday, January 12th at 4 pm and the next home game will be at Cascade Gym vs Chemeketa Community College on Wednesday, January 16th at 7:30 pm
